Specialised Karate Kids Programme
Designed based on principles of learning through play and fundamentals of karate, the kids programme will equip kids with confidence, respect, discipline, focus and self-defence.
Experienced Coaches
Our coaches are well-trained in sports karate and are certified NROC Coaches with Sport Singapore.
Safe and Enjoyable Environment
Our classes have a small coach to student ratio to ensure sufficient attention and assistance for each individual.

SÕKE Richard Ng Sing Hua
With more than 50 years of coaching experience, Soke Richard Ng is the founder of Shinwa-Kai Karate, one of the leading Karate clubs in Singapore.
Leading the coaches in Rei Academy, he ensures the quality in the Academy and is also the main examiner for gradings conducted in the dojo.
Soke Richard holds a 7th Dan black belt and is awarded a Master Coach by Sports Singapore. He is also a certified international Kata and Kumite judge and referee.
sensei peiru ng
Former National Athlete and mum of two, Sensei PeiRu has represented Singapore at international competitions including SEA Games, ASEAN University Games and World Karate-do Federation Championship.
The head coach of the pre-schoolers programmes in the Academy, Sensei PeiRu designed the Rei kids programme based on principles of learning through play, along with the fundamentals of karate.
Sensei PeiRu has a coaching experience of more than 10 years, holds a karate black belt 3rd Dan, is a registered Sport Singapore NROC Coach and is Standard First Aid+AED certified.
sensei leonard how
A sport enthusiast with
background in football, swimming and strength training, Leonard added Karate to his repertoire ten years ago.

His passion for Karate developed further after witnessing his son's progress to a National Junior Kata Champion.
​
Sensei Leonard holds a karate black belt 2nd Dan and is a certified Singapore Karate-do Federation referee.
OUR DOJOS
East - Parkway Centre
Our flagship dojo, Parkway Centre has been our home since Rei Academy begun.
Fitted with competition-grade tatami mats and equipped with punching bags, paddings and weights, this dojo provides a great environment for new beginners and elites alike.

Just opened in September 2022, our dojo in the west is part of Sport Schooling Centre for Movement.
Together with other partners in the centre (swim school, tennis academy, crossfit gym and high performance analysis) , we are proud to be part of this multi-sport centre.
